Connect or select a supported Bitcoin or EVM wallet and sign a verification message to demonstrate technical control of the address. No funds need to move.

Sign a standard ProofLayer declaration or create a custom message and cryptographically bind it to a wallet.

A ProofLayer certificate is not intended to be trusted simply because ProofLayer generated it. The underlying cryptographic and blockchain evidence is what matters.
Proofs can be checked against the wallet signature, document fingerprint and available public blockchain data, allowing third parties to independently validate the evidence behind a document, declaration or crypto event.
ProofLayer organizes the evidence. Cryptography provides the proof.
The certificate is the readable presentation layer; the underlying evidence is what makes the proof meaningful.
